Poem Packet: Went over the phases in the packet and the expectations to writing the poem. We used a poem written by a student a few years ago to see how it should look and compare it to the packet. Then we did section A of the packet which was writing the diamond poem on the animal that you choose.
If you were gone, get the packet and do the diamond poem.
Spanish 2:
Broke up into small groups of two or three and were assigned a portion of the story. Identified the verbs and translated using the new notes I provided. (get this from me) After finishes that part the groups made a story board for their section. The purpose is to help the groups retell the story to the class. We will have 30 minutes to finish tomorrow in class and then we will finish the story in class with presentations of the story boards. If you were gone you will need to get assigned two paragraphs and translate those paragraphs into English.

Got a copy of the story from Yesterday and reviewed what we covered.
We took the next two paragraphs starting with Shirley. You underlined each verb (34 verbs) and then used your flashcards and some notes from the board to define the verbs by the ending and then the stem. Example: comimos (just write directly above the ending and stem) ate we. Do this for all the verbs in those two paragraphs. Focus on the who and when from the ending.
Notes from board:
Imperfect Tense: All endings mean either: used to or was. For example I used to eat or I was eating.
